Positioned with a Purpose

Esther 4:14 If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance and relief for the Jews will arise from some other place, but you and your relatives will die. Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this? Our God is sovereign, meaning He is in ultimately and totally in control. He positions us strategically to carry out His purposes and to advance His kingdom. Sometimes it is easy for us to see how He has placed us, and other times it is not so easy. For Esther, it was obvious that she had been given a promotion with a purpose, but it was scary to think about barging in on the king without being invited. It's often not the big picture that causes us to delay, but instead it's the details. When we come to the place that we are certain that He is leading us, then we can come to the conclusion that He can handle all of the obstacles that lie ahead of us. As a child of God, your job is not just a job, or your school is not just a school. They are places where God has chosen to position you to carry out His purposes. This is your time!
